Marine is a French attorney-at-Law (civil law) – Avocat – and co-founded Grotius Chambers. She specialises in public international law with a particular focus on international organisations law and international civil servants law as well as policies and governance.
Marine is a member of the Marseille Bar (FR) and registered as a European lawyer with The Hague Orde Van Advocaten (NL).
During her career, Marine held positions in private practice as well as government and in the international civil service, serving as Deputy Legal Adviser at the Embassy of France in the Netherlands, legal consultant to the Hague Conference on Private International Law and she was trained as a practitioner in international arbitration in a major international law firm.
She obtained undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in international law, international administrative law and the law of international organisations from University Paris II – Panthéon-Assas (France) and Universidad del Rosario (Colombia).
Marine is recognised for her compelling legal and analytical skills as well as her strong ability to develop sustainable international strategies.
