Dagan is a paralegal at Grotius Chambers and a Ugandan by nationality. He is an England and Wales trained Barrister (Gray’s Inn) specialising in public international law with a particular focus on international dispute resolution. He is currently finalising with his Master of Laws at Leiden University focusing on investor-state arbitration.
He obtained an undergraduate degree, Bachelor of Laws from the University of Middlesex London, a Post Graduate Diploma in Bar Professional Training from Cardiff University. He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, the Young ICCA -International Council of Commercial Arbitration and Young International Arbitration Group.
Over the course of his education, he has represented his universities in different competitions including the 2015 World Federation of United Nations Associations of Model United Nations in New York where he was elected as Vice-Chair for the Sixth Committee by participants from over 50 countries. Dagan was part of the Leiden University team that took part in the prestigious 26th Willem Vis Moot in Vienna 2019.
